Tucked into a dim, high-ceilinged room in Manchester, this is a small Eastern European–leaning kitchen that turns out spätzle, pierogi and pasta at prices that surprise people. Families do come — there's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, a few outdoor tables and free parking — but it's snug and softly lit rather than boisterous, so it suits an early sitting or older children more than a wriggly toddler at 7pm.
