About Thewitchez Restaurant

A Polish kitchen with a full-on witchy theme — think unique decor and an 8ft animatronic dragon that will occupy a child far longer than a colouring sheet. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, and the vegan options are genuinely good rather than an afterthought. Portions are enormous: the Witchelicious Burger regularly defeats grown adults, and the Roma and Lecso starters get mentioned again and again, along with rosemary lamb with beetroot mash and hot chocolate worth ordering. Staff walk you through the menu properly and take the time to be kind — one table was given extra napkins to carry on folding origami lotus flowers, which tells you how they treat people. It's a special-occasion sort of place and busy, so book. Expect ££ and to leave very full.
