All Things Nice
A warm village café-deli with fresh bakes, fast hot food and staff who are lovely with small children — just mind the early closing.

Steak house · Norwich
A country pub-restaurant just outside Norwich with an in-house butchery, this is the kind of place families settle into rather than rush through. There's plenty of room between tables — even on a packed Mother's Day nobody was knocking elbows — plus different areas to suit whether you want a casual lunch or something more special, and a good spread of outdoor seating for when children need air. Buggy access, high chairs, a kids' menu and free parking make the logistics easy, and the staff are attentive without hovering, patient with allergies and quick to get food out. Steak is the speciality (chalkboard menu), the Sunday roasts get real praise, and puddings — sticky toffee, the chocolate brownie sundae — are worth the extra fork. It's dog friendly, there's an open fireplace, and Friday nights bring live music, so expect noise then. Worth booking at weekends.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
