Cafe Hula
A laid-back, rustic-style Glasgow café doing brunch, deli sandwiches and hearty mains like pasta, stews and burgers.

Italian · Glasgow
Booking ahead is worth it here — this Glasgow Italian fills up early, especially on theatre nights, and Saturday teatime can get properly loud, though families say it never spoils the meal. Once you're in, the welcome is the thing: staff greet you coming and going, chat happily to children, and are quick with high chairs. Portions are big enough to share, which helps with picky eaters — the calzone is enormous, and the lobster ravioli gets named again and again. There's a kids' menu, vegan and gluten-free options (including GF pasta), buggy access and a few outdoor tables. The pre-theatre deal, two courses for around £20–25, is decent value. One parent scored the food "easily a 10/10" after bringing two children along.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
