High chairs and a kids' menu inside, where the decor is odd and cheerful (plant-pot cups, a watering can, a statue of Jesus you may end up sitting next to) and it feels intimate but not cramped. The kitchen does Greek-leaning plates and Sunday roasts; the loaded garlic and parmesan fries and BBQ chicken are easy sharing food, and the lamb shank with bone-marrow gravy is a proper plate. Two snags worth knowing: roasts have been hit and miss over the years, and the basement toilets are basic. Staff are warm and genuinely accommodating.
