The conveyor belt does a lot of the heavy lifting here — small plates trundling past means children get something in front of them within seconds, which is worth knowing if you're arriving with a hungry toddler. The booths feel cosy and contained, there's buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu, plus outdoor seating when the weather plays along. Sushi is the draw: salmon and avocado hand rolls, seared salmon nigiri, seabass and mackerel, and a prawn bento that goes down well with children. Hot plates like miso aubergine, squid tempura and the chicken katsu burger get just as much praise, and the vegan and vegetarian side of the menu is unusually strong. Two adults with wine came to around £95, so it's a treat rather than a weekly thing. Service can be hit and miss, and booking online has been known to fail — phone ahead.
