Everything's made from scratch and seasoned with care. It's a calm, clean room rather than a rowdy one, with high chairs, a children's menu and vegan choices, and the team are warm and attentive — one visitor was handed the last of the red cabbage free when a side ran short. Service can be a little formal for a pie house, and the odd request gets forgotten, but families leave happy and planning the next order.
