Food comes out fast, which matters when someone's melting down, and the menu is unusually long with plenty of specials: huge fish and chips, generous Sunday roasts, homemade curries on Thursdays at two for £20. Portions are big and prices reasonable. Dogs welcome too. It gets very busy on Friday nights and bank holidays, so book if you're bringing the whole family.
