Cafés · Pembroke
A small Pembroke café that turns out to be a genuinely easy stop with children — buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu, and a quiet courtyard garden out the back that takes the pressure off if someone's getting restless. You can sit inside where it's cosy and warm, out the front, or in the garden. The pancakes come in for real praise (strawberry ones went down well with a family with children in tow), as do the enormous homemade scones, eggs benedict, the full Welsh, and a tuna melt jacket potato that one visitor called a massive portion for the money. Milkshakes for the children, and coffee good enough that people mention it unprompted. The staff are warm and welcoming — one family of seven left "not a single crumb". Dog-friendly too. It's small, so weekends can fill up.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
