Avon Mill Garden Centre
A cafe set in a historic Kingsbridge mill, serving lunches, cream teas and Friday night dinners alongside the garden centre.

Cafés · Kingsbridge
Perched above the valley outside Kingsbridge, this farm shop café trades on two things: a view that people genuinely stop for, and food that punches well above café level. The pork with its crackling gets rhapsodies, the scones arrive warm and generous, and the big breakfast — sausage, bacon, hash browns, even the homemade smoky beans — wins over sceptics. There's a proper children's menu, high chairs, free parking and level buggy access, and the staff are warm with children and dogs alike. Worth knowing: inside is small, so busy times often mean the outdoor marquee, which can be chilly (they hand out blankets). One family noted a faint toilet smell at one end, so pick your table. Prices feel fair for the quality. One parent called the cream tea scones "out of this world".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
