Tucked down the lanes near Helston, this is a farm shop and café in an airy, light barn — roomy enough for a pram, with high chairs, a small play corner inside and animals out the back that children can feed for 65p a bag. The chickens are the main event, and the eggs on your plate come from them. Breakfast is the reason most people come: the "Knockers" full English with thick bacon, properly herby sausages and generous portions, plus gluten-free and vegan options, cakes and Moomaid ice cream. Free parking, outdoor seating, dogs welcome. Worth knowing: a full English runs £13–£17, and opening hours shrink outside summer, so check before you drive over. The staff are unfailingly kind — one family broke down nearby and were looked after.
