Tucked away in Lizard Village, this is the sort of place families end up returning to all week — one couple made the trip from Mullion six mornings running for the breakfasts. Tables are a good size both inside and out, buggy access is straightforward and parking is free, so arriving with a pram and a hungry toddler isn't a battle. Food comes out fast — often within five or ten minutes — which matters when someone's melting down. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, a big bathroom that families particularly rate, and oat or coconut milk for allergies. Portions are generous: the chowder, the garlic bread and the dirty chips with scallops get raved about. It is a little pricey, and smokers on the outdoor tables can spoil the terrace, but the staff are warm and it's genuinely dog friendly too.
