Children's cafe · Bristol
Sessions are the thing to know about here — you book a slot, wait to be let in, and then a bright, spotless space opens up with two separate zones: a role-play corner with a genuinely lovely toy selection, and a padded soft play that works for babies through to about three. Parents of easily overwhelmed toddlers rave about how calm it feels compared with the usual chaotic soft play. The coffee is good and the carrot cake gets singled out repeatedly; there's a kids' hot chocolate that delights small people. High chairs, step stools and changing facilities are all in place, plus free parking and easy buggy access. Two honest notes: outside food isn't allowed, and the children's menu is limited to sandwiches or jacket potatoes, so it's worth checking that works for you first.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
