Tots & Teapots Play Café
A calm, beautifully designed Bristol play café with soft play, role-play toys and excellent cake — book a session slot first.

Restaurants · Bristol
Just outside Bristol city centre, this is the kind of small Italian place where the pace suits children — orders written by hand, prices totted up on a calculator, no one hiding behind a screen. It's cosy rather than roomy, with about twenty covers inside, so a buggy is easier at quieter times; there's outdoor seating too if you'd rather let a noisy toddler blend into the traffic. The pizzas are what people come back for, along with cheesy garlic bread, big cooked breakfasts (a free Americano comes with them), salmon on ciabatta and cannoli. High chairs, a kids' menu, vegan and gluten-free options, and staff who take allergies seriously right through to dessert. Prices are gentle. On-street parking is unpredictable, so allow time. One family found it had "a real family feel".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
