A small, warmly styled Lounge on the Bristol strip, this one has been going long enough to feel properly local — mismatched artwork, comfortable corners, and a chilled vibe that suits a slow breakfast with children in tow. Brunch is what people come back for: crisp, properly done hash browns, pancakes the whole table ends up sharing, and coffee from a local roaster. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and vegan options, plus outdoor seating and free parking, which takes some of the sting out of a family outing. Staff stay friendly even when it's heaving. Two things worth knowing: they don't take bookings, so weekend mornings mean arriving early, and it's dog-friendly — lovely for some, less so if a barking spaniel derails lunch. Around 4pm on a Saturday it's blissfully quiet.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
