Attached to the Premier Inn, so it's an easy stop if you're staying over or just need somewhere warm and dry to land — one family ducked in out of a downpour and found it clean and welcoming. Breakfast is the standout: the full Premier Inn spread, done well, with people calling it excellent value and coming back for it. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and level access for a pram, and the room is set up for hotel guests rather than crowds, so it rarely feels cramped. Evening meals are more mixed — steaks have come back overcooked or fatty, and some dishes land underseasoned — so breakfast is the safer bet with children. Worth knowing they don't reliably take walk-ins, and the meal-deal supplements aren't always flagged, so ask when you book.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
