The on-site Thyme restaurant does a kids' menu and high chairs, and the kitchen is quick: families who book ahead report being seated on arrival with food and drinks out without the long waits that undo a tired toddler. The menu is more varied than you'd expect, breakfast gets particular praise for choice and generous plates, and the dinner-and-breakfast deal at around £26.99 works out well for a family. Staff are chatty and genuinely accommodating — one guest with coeliac disease had meals prepared separately to avoid cross-contamination. Do book a table, though: it gets very busy on mornings when a ship sails.
