Colbeh, Persian Kitchen & Bar (Birmingham)
Birmingham spot for traditional Iranian comfort food, with high chairs, booth seating and an outdoor area for families.

Turkish · Birmingham
A rare night out or a family dinner both work here — the room is warm and cosy without being precious, and there's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access and free parking, which takes most of the stress out of arriving. Food comes quickly, which matters when someone's patience is running out: complimentary warm bread lands first, then generous plates of Adana kebab or the mixed grill with bulgur and white rice. Portions look modest and turn out to be very filling. Staff are consistently kind and attentive — that comes up again and again — and the place is spotless. Prices are reasonable for what arrives. Save room for baklava and Turkish tea, which regulars single out. One parent describes the atmosphere as "cosy and light", the sort of room you'd happily bring the whole family into.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
