Hagley Road's big Indian dining room has more space than most curry houses, which matters when you arrive with a pram and a hungry toddler — there's a proper car park round the back, high chairs, and a kids' menu. Food comes out fast, which is the detail worth knowing when someone's melting down: pani puris arrive with genuinely generous pani, and the mixed kebab platter is good sharing food with decent pieces of lamb, chicken and fish. Portions are sizeable, staff are patient and know their way around gluten-free requests.
