Tucked down a side street rather than the main drag, this is a cheap, cheerful city-centre pub that works better for families at the quieter end of the day. Food comes out fast — order at the table on the app and drinks arrive almost before you've sat down — which matters when someone's hungry and wobbling. Portions are generous and good value; the sticky Korean chicken and the cooked breakfast get particular praise, and one family of four with two vegetarians reports everyone leaving satisfied every visit. There are high chairs, a kids' menu and a few seating areas including upstairs, plus outdoor tables and buggy access. Be honest with yourself about timing, though: at weekends and evenings it's loud, busy and short on space, and one visitor bluntly says it's "not spacious" for children.
