Portions are generous, breakfast is a proper spread of cereals, fruit, pastries and cooked plates, and desserts get more praise than anything else. Staff come in for consistent warmth: patient, chatty, one parent noting nothing was too much trouble. Two honest snags: food quality is hit and miss — some meals arrive tasting reheated and pricey for what they are — and there are steps on every level, so a pram means carrying.
