A little Penarth crêperie that families come back to for years — plenty of people have been bringing babies here who are now old enough to order for themselves. The savoury crêpes are the draw: brie and bacon, or Parma ham with olives, sun-dried tomato and pesto, generously filled and served with salad and coleslaw. Waffles are good value, the afternoon tea gets envious glances from neighbouring tables, and there's proper gluten-free pancake provision — one family of coeliacs was delighted. High chairs, buggy access and a kids' menu, and dogs are welcome too. Two honest caveats: the interior is looking a bit tired, and when they're short-staffed the wait for food can stretch, so it's not the spot for a hungry toddler on a tight schedule. Coffee comes generously sized while you wait.
