Cafe At The New Room
A relaxed Bristol café with high chairs and vegan options, well rated by families for an easy, fuss-free stop.

Italian · Bristol
A tiny family-run deli and pizza place off the chain-coffee trail, this is the sort of spot that works when you need lunch fast and calm. Slices, paninis with a crust you can hear from across the table, and cannoli that people genuinely rave about — the Sicilian one especially. Vegan families are properly looked after, from the mushroom pizza to a red velvet cake. It's small, so a buggy needs a bit of manoeuvring, but there's seating inside, upstairs and out front, and the upstairs room is cosy and calmer for a wobbly toddler. Staff are warm and will hold a bigger table if you ring ahead. Italian radio playing, fair prices, high chairs and a kids' menu. The pistachio hot chocolate is worth the detour.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
