About Cafe Casa

A proper Bristol greasy spoon that's become something of a local institution, and the prices genuinely make you check twice given it's right in the centre. Breakfast is the reason to come — a full English that arrives fast and keenly priced, plus a wide selection including Moroccan options and a shakshuka people go out of their way to recommend. Portions are generous and the coffee is strong and freshly brewed. The staff are warm and unusually willing to accommodate: swapping things around on a breakfast, offering alternatives, sorting a sandwich exactly how you want it. That flexibility matters with fussy eaters. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and buggy access, and outdoor seating where you can sit and people-watch — handy when little ones need air. It's a small city-centre café, so it does get busy and it's more bustle than calm.
