Food arrives piping hot and fast, and portions are generous; the masala chips are the thing children reliably demolish, and the chicken dishes come soft and easy for small mouths. Staff are warm from the door and keep checking in, even when the place is full. It does fill up, so book at weekends — and the lamb chops are a gamble. One parent describes the atmosphere as simply "calm".
