Brunch · Cambridge
A bit tucked away on the edge of Cambridge, this is a proper brunch spot that happens to work well with children in tow. The menu bends easily — one family of eight arrived with two kids, two vegetarians and a vegan and everyone was sorted with a few substitutions. The Big Brunch is the thing to order: perfectly cooked eggs, grilled halloumi, smoky beans, chilli jam, thick sourdough. The pastries are excellent too, especially the pain au chocolat, and the coffee is consistently good. Buggy access, high chairs, a kids' menu and free parking all help, as does the outdoor seating on a sunny day. Two honest snags: it's often busy, so you may wait for a table and service can slow right down, and it's on the pricier side. Regulars say the seasonal specials are the weak link — stick to the classics.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
