Inside is smallish but nobody seems to go without a table; the pavement tables are the pick on a warm day, with plenty to watch going past. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, parking is free, and food comes out fast and generous. The Moroccan hash browns get raved about, the soup is a fixture, the banana cake is worth a detour, and the coffee comes off a proper machine rather than a push-button one.
