The Cornish Barista - Quarryside
Cosy quarryside café near Penryn with breakfast worth the trip, zip-wire views for the kids and free parking.

Restaurant · Falmouth
Plenty of free parking and space to park a pram outside make this an easy stop with children in tow, and the seating spreads generously indoors and out, so a pushchair or a wriggly toddler never feels like a problem. Portions are enormous — the waffles arrive piled with crispy chicken, bacon and maple syrup, and most families end up boxing half to take away. The BAYA sandwiches and Guinness cake get raved about, the coffee is genuinely good, and the staff are warm about walking you through a very long menu. High chairs, a kids' menu and vegan options are all sorted. Prices sit on the higher side and can read a little steeper on the board than online, but one parent reckons the sheer quantity makes it "very reasonable".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
