Tucked inside the Metquarter food hall, this is a thali counter with proper sit-down space around it — roomy tables, easy to park a pram beside you, and a cheerful team who make you feel welcome rather than rushed. The veg and non-veg thalis arrive on copper plates with several curries, rice and a sweet, and the chicken tikka, chana bhature and gulab jamun get the most love; portions of rice are generous enough to share with a small person. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and level access. Two honest caveats: at roughly £13–16 a plate it isn't cheap for a food court, and food can take twenty minutes or more to appear, so it's not the place to dash in before a theatre matinee with hungry children.
