Loon Fung Cantonese Restaurant
Authentic Hong Kong-style dim sum with high chairs, a kids' menu and sharing portions — cosy, quick to serve, and worth booking at weekends.

Cafés · Glasgow
Tucked below street level in a nondescript Garnethill building, this is the sort of place you'd walk straight past — which makes finding it feel like a small win. Sunday mornings get busy and tables inside go fast without a booking, though the team will hunt one down for you and there's outdoor seating as a decent fallback (handy with a baby and a smoothie in reach — staff here are quick with a cloth and unbothered by mess). Portions are generous and the produce is fresh: eggs Benedict with avocado, halloumi or black pudding, French toast the children go for, and a genuinely good vegan breakfast on a mostly egg-based menu. Cakes are lovely but pricey, and on-street parking is eye-watering — over £9 for 90 minutes. Dogs are welcome too.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
