Vito's Italian Restaurant
Cosy Italian with free parking, high chairs and a kids' menu — generous specials, great tiramisu, and genuinely careful coeliac handling.

Lebanese · Sheffield
A neighbourhood Lebanese place in Walkley that families come back to for years rather than once — low-key, softly lit and calm enough that a relaxed meal is genuinely possible, with staff who are unhurried and can't do enough for you. The mezze is where to start: a dozen hot and cold plates easily feeds four, and the moujaddarah, batata harra, spinach bourek and fattoush get named again and again, alongside the mixed grill and a chilli sauce one regular would happily buy bottled. Portions are generous and prices reasonable for what arrives. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices, free parking and — a small thing that matters with children — spotless toilets. Service can run slow when it's busy, and card payment hasn't always been available, so carry cash.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
