There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access and free parking, plus outdoor tables and a canal walk on the doorstep for burning off energy afterwards. The team are genuinely warm, gluten-free options are plentiful (a real find for coeliac families), and the homemade cakes and cheesecakes are what regulars come back for — one visitor never leaves without a slice. The ham, cheese and tomato ciabatta gets particular praise, as does the coffee. It's dog-friendly too, with puppuccinos and dog ice cream. Prices are fair for the quality; the menu is fairly short, so fussier eaters may need a look first.
