Bottomless brunch is what most people come for here, and the pace of it is the thing to know before you bring children — big groups, drinks topped up constantly, and it gets lively. Come at lunchtime instead and it's a much calmer room: pretty decor, tapas that comes out quickly, calamari that isn't rubbery, and enough vegetarian choices to keep everyone happy. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and the staff are consistently attentive without hovering. Portions on the quesadilla can be light on chicken and heavy on pepper, and one parent noted the toilets could do with more attention from the cleaners. Weekends book up solid, so ring ahead. Happy hour from 3pm is worth waiting around for if you've got older kids in tow.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
