Restaurants · Stafford
Ten minutes outside Stafford on a working farm, this one comes with a view — you look out over Cannock Chase and the riding school, and children can watch horses head off while they wait. Inside is cosy and country-themed, air conditioned in summer, with a terrace for sunny days and a big free car park (it fills up at weekends). Breakfast is the thing here: fluffy pancakes, eggs Benedict, loaded fries with plenty of toppings, Texan waffles, and white chocolate mochas people rhapsodise about. Staff are friendly and attentive, and there's a kids' menu, high chairs and buggy access. Two honest notes: it's pricey for what it is, and weekend food waits can be long, so bring something to keep small hands busy. Being on a farm, the odd ant wanders in.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
