There's a kids' menu, high chairs and a big multi-level garden, and the buggy access works — though the inside is snug, and the baby change is a fold-down in a tiny cubicle set high above the toilet, which is workable rather than lovely. Sunday roasts are the draw: five options, crisp salty potatoes, generous meat, proper gravy, and a sticky toffee pudding families keep coming back for. The cod and the Nourish Bowl get the same praise midweek. Staff are warm and unhurried. It's a touch pricey for a pub, and one busy Sunday roast took over an hour to land, so feed small children something first.
