The room takes a pram without much fuss, high chairs are on hand and there's a kids' menu, plus vegan dishes if someone in the family needs them — though the vegan Buddha bowl has left people underwhelmed for the price. Pizza itself is decent, if not a revelation, and portions can arrive looking lighter than the pictures suggest. The bigger snag is pace and warmth of welcome: waits of the better part of an hour have happened even on quiet evenings, and service swings from lovely and smiley to visibly impatient depending who's on. Drinks are steep at over £3.50 a bottle. The downstairs toilets could do with more attention. One parent called the pizza "nice but missing something".
