Bar Iberico
Lively Hockley tapas spot where sharing plates arrive fast — high chairs, changing facilities and pram room, but expect a queue at weekends.

Tucked into the main drag through Hockley, this is a lively, slightly bonkers pizza place that somehow works with children in tow — buggy access, high chairs, a kids' menu and outdoor tables, plus halal and vegan options if that matters to you. Food arrives fast, which is the thing that counts when someone's losing patience: drinks and pizzas land within minutes, and the staff are attentive and unfazed by allergy questions. Portions are generous enough to share. The hot honey and pepperoni, the truffle and mushroom, and the deep-fried artichokes all get raved about, and the crust is properly airy. Two honest caveats: it gets noisy and busy in the evenings, and the stairs between floors are steep — one visitor called them "a bit butt clenching" with a pram or wobbly toddler. Worth booking at weekends.
