Cheap, fast and loud in the good way — this is a solid bet with children in tow. Pizzas land at the table remarkably quickly even when every seat is full, which matters enormously when someone's patience has run out, and they arrive properly hot. The dough is Neapolitan-soft and pillowy (one visitor wanted a touch more crisp on the base, so be warned if that's your preference), the ingredients taste fresh, and the gluten-free version genuinely holds its own. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and buggy access, plus vegan and halal options, and a few outdoor tables. Downstairs there are arcade machines — a useful distraction while you wait. The staff stay friendly and attentive through the rush, checking in and making suggestions. It's busy and buzzy rather than calm, so expect noise at peak times.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
