Cafés · Cardigan
A garden centre café in Cardigan that turns out to be a proper day out — kids and adults alike make a beeline for the park area, and there's a whole nursery to wander round afterwards, colour everywhere even if you've no garden at home. Plenty of seating inside and out, free parking, buggy access and high chairs, plus a kids' menu. The homemade food punches above ££: the cawl is a local favourite, the cajun chicken panini and sandwiches get consistent praise, and there's a good spread of cakes and puddings. Vegan and other dietary needs are handled with real care. Staff stay friendly and chatty even at their busiest. Two snags: food is fetched yourself from a hatch when your buzzer goes, which is awkward with a toddler on your hip, and the fish and chips portion can be mean.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
