Small frontage, but it goes back a long way — worth knowing when you're arriving with a pram, because the seating inside is roomier and calmer than the street view suggests. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, and staff check back at the table often enough that you're not waving for water while someone's losing patience. Waits are reasonable and the North Indian menu is consistent rather than fussy: the paneer tikka, lamb biryani and butter chicken get the most praise, and the Peshwari naan tastes as though the coconut's been toasted. Portions are generous for under £20 a head. Plenty of vegetarian options too. It can lean rich by the end of a meal, so order a cooling side — and one visitor found service patchier on a busy night, though the food made up for it.
