BRIG Café at The Warehouse
Big-portion vegan food in Digbeth with famously good chips, a relaxed sofa-and-bookcase room, high chairs and a kids' menu.

Hamburger · Birmingham
Tucked slightly off the beaten track, this is a proper burger stop that families can actually manage — buggy access, high chairs, a kids' menu and a few outdoor tables when the weather plays along. The menu is short on purpose and the burgers are done properly: juicy patties with a real grilled crust, loaded fries that come piled high, and wings people come back for. One portion of fries genuinely feeds two children. Food arrives fast, which matters when someone's hit the wall, and the staff are warm and happy to talk you through the specials board. Two honest snags: there's only one toilet inside (the bar next door has three more), and a 10% service charge goes on automatically. One parent went back two days running because the burgers were "just too good".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
