Coffee Shops · Liskeard
Perched above Siblyback Reservoir, this is the kind of café that makes a walk-and-lunch morning genuinely easy. The flat path round the lake is pram-friendly, there's outdoor seating with proper views, and on warmer days a little play area to release the children into while you finish your coffee. Order at the till and food is brought over; it can be busy enough that freshly made plates take a while, so a snack in the bag helps. Portions are generous — the full breakfast and the mushroom carnitas hash both get raved about, the cakes and bakes are excellent, and vegan and vegetarian choice is unusually good for the area. High chairs, a kids' menu, buggy access, dog-friendly inside and out. Parking is pay-and-display, around £3 for two hours, and the lane in is single-track Cornish, so take the bends steady.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
