Staff come up warm and efficient, and there's real patience shown with accessibility and larger groups sitting together. Small plates and pizzas are the mainstay: the smoked mackerel pizza and the tender stem broccoli both get raved about, the arancini and flatbread are worth ordering, and Sunday roasts are the standout — slow-cooked lamb, crackling-topped pork, proper gravy and yorkshires, plus a vegan wellington and good gluten-free options. Sticky toffee pudding is made on site. Prices are fair (two pizzas, a side and olives for £30). Worth knowing: there's no printed wine list, and it can get noisy at busy times.
