Inside is cosy and comfortable, with high chairs and a kids' menu, and the staff are the reason people keep coming back: warm, unhurried, the sort who make you feel like a regular by the second visit. House beers, pop-up food and properly good coffee and 0% options if you're the one driving home. Dogs are welcomed as enthusiastically as everyone else. One real snag: the unisex toilets are awkwardly laid out, with the queue running through the urinal room, which several women have found genuinely uncomfortable — worth knowing before you go.
