Tamu Cafe
Small, warm Bearwood brunch spot with knockout fritters, halal food, real vegan swaps, a kids' menu, high chairs and free parking.

Pub · Birmingham
A proper family pub with a Wacky Warehouse soft play attached, which is the whole reason most parents end up here — you can settle in with a drink, catch the football on the screens, and let the kids burn off an hour while the food arrives. The carvery is what regulars come back for: turkey, beef and gammon carved thin, generous rather than stingy, and reasonably priced for what you get. Food generally comes out fast, which matters when someone's hit the wall. There's a big free car park, plenty of tables, high chairs, a kids' menu, and outdoor benches with a screen for warmer days. Breakfast runs all day. The staff are patient with children and happy to shuffle bookings. Toilets are clean but dated, and kitchen quality can wobble — one parent found an undercooked burger.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
