Courtyard Cafe Dalby Forest
A friendly woodland café at Dalby Forest with quick service, generous brunches and home baking — but mind the 3pm close and paid forest parking.

Coffee Shops · Pickering
Tucked away on the Vale of Pickering caravan park but open to anyone passing, this family-run spot has become a proper destination in its own right. The full English and the veggie breakfast both get raved about, the coffee is taken seriously, and there's a good cake selection if you're only stopping for a treat. Food comes out fast, which matters when a toddler has decided lunch is happening now. Staff are warm and unhurried with families, there are high chairs and a kids' menu, and the interior is comfortable rather than cramped, so a pram isn't a problem. Free parking on site and a decent outdoor seating area for warmer days. Pizza night runs on Fridays and themed pie nights appear in the school holidays. One catch: it isn't open every day, so check before you drive over.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
