Set inside a farm shop just outside Norwich, this is a roomy, rustic space with plenty of room to park a pram beside the table and free parking outside, which takes one worry off the morning. Food is properly good and fairly priced — the Norfolk breakfast is hearty, the French toast gets rave notices, and the scones and hot chocolate are worth the detour. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and staff are generally warm and quick, even at a busy Saturday lunchtime. Weekends are the snag: Sunday lunch draws long queues, and even a booked table can mean a wait, so go early or go midweek. Roast pork and vegetables land well when they arrive. The shop side is a treat too, though pantry things aren't cheap.
