Staff get a lot of praise for being friendly under pressure, and they'll tell you when your carvery's ready to collect, which saves hovering. Worth knowing: portions on the pricier "large" plates can underwhelm, roast potatoes and Yorkshires are occasionally hit-and-miss, and with few staff on the floor ordering can be slow — most people use the online table ordering. Gluten-free options are unusually good.
