A tiny railway-themed café where the food genuinely arrives by model train — and if you've ever tried to keep a small child seated through lunch, that alone earns the trip. Trains run along the tables and up the walls, with gondolas and a steam tram outside, and the collection changes often enough that regulars come back to see what's new. Children come for breakfast and lunch, and the excitement level, families say, runs high; there are high chairs, a kids' menu and free parking. Portions are generous — plenty of people leave with a box — the big breakfast and the sausages get particular praise, and the vegan spread is done properly. Two snags worth knowing: it's very small, only a handful of tables, so book well ahead, and the loo is outside (clean, but a walk).
