Perched above the bay on the NC500, this small café and bakery has become a proper stopping point — and it gets busy, so expect a queue at peak times. The kitchen is open-plan, food is homebaked, and the specials board inside is worth a look before you order; the honey walnut cake and the homemade carrot cake come up again and again, as does the Cullen skink and locally sourced smoked salmon. Staff are warm and genuinely accommodating — one group of ten breakfasted here two days running and couldn't fault them. Indoor space is limited, though there's outdoor seating, buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu, plus vegan options and free parking. Dogs are patio-only. It's a small place, so it can feel tight when full, but the welcome and the view make up for it.
